Sunglasses, hats and sunscreen can make our flower filled fields a lot more enjoyable during the summer months even in the early morning hours. Bring water bottles to stay hydrated, we can fill them on site for you.

Protect your feet

Prepare for weather

Bring shoes not sandals or flip-flops as the soil can be uneven or muddy.  Cover up to protect arms and legs if you are prone to rashes.  Bring your own gloves as plants may bother your hands.

Bring your own clean vases or buckets to transport your flowers home in. Bring a box or two to support vases or buckets in transport.  We have smaller vase options, available in the barn for purchase all under $5 dollars. (Cash only)

Help your experience

Care for your cut flowers

We provide pruners for you.  If you bring your own scissors or garden pruners with you to cut flowers they may be more comfortable as you are familiar with using your own.

Remember

We encourage all visitors to take photos of the flowers and your U-pick experience on the farm to share with family & friends.  If you want professional photos taken please schedule a time for you and your guest alone as a private unique event.

Leave at home

We ask that you do not bring any animals to the flower farm or even leave them in your car with windows cracked.  If you have special needs with a registered service dog please contact us in advance.

  • Fill your container with water by our barn.
  • Time to start cutting flowers - Ask for assistance with proper cutting techniques.
  • We allow 1 hour to pick your flowers and limit the number of people.  We want this to be a small group experience for all.

  • Have Fun & Enjoy Your Flowers!

Your Journey Home

Upon Your Arrival

Upon Your Arrival

  • Prevent your flowers from being left in a hot car and keep them out of direct sunlight.
  • Always keep the cut flowers away from direct sunlight as it will also extend their vase life.
  • Changing the water every 2-3 days and giving the stems a fresh cut on the bottom will prolong the blooms.
  • Use hot soapy water or even a little bleach to clean containers.  Bacteria in the water often clogs the stems ability to take up water and will reduce flower life.
  • Give stems a fresh cut at a 45 degree angle before putting them in the clean containers at home for maximum water uptake.

    What visitors are saying

Wonderful experience at this u-pick! Don is very welcoming and knowledgeable about flowers, and the selection is full of beautiful flowers that go well together. The appointment system makes it such that your group is the only people there, so it feels really special. The bucket for picking is a generous size and we didn't even fill it in the end. Would highly recommend!

Great place to pick flowers and plan a unique experience in the wine country. You can also book where you can take photos . The place is breathtaking and well taken care of flower gardens. Beautiful Sunflowers and Gorgeous Dahlias are my favorites.
You won't be disappointed and very knowledgeable farmer.
